Let Freedom Ring

The Apostle Paul was going to great measures to tell the Galatian believers that they were no longer obligated to fulfill the ceremonial law of Judaism, or to follow the mystic path in the religion of the Greek’s, i.e., Gnosticism.  He said there in Gal.5:1, “For freedom Christ has set us free.” That is, Jesus has given us the right to think, speak, and act without the hindrances of man’s religion. Man’s religion is cloaked in a garment of a false righteousness.  We are no longer subject to any kind of domination or restraint that enslaves us to the spirit of control or intimidation. Freedom is the power that the kingdom of God thrives under. Freedom frees us from the spirit of darkness, and powers of evil.  We have been given the Spirit of Lord, through faith, and where the Spirit of God is, there is freedom. So, let freedom ring!

Discover God’s Will, Within God’s Providence:

1st. Get the true fear of God upon your hearts; be truly afraid of offending Him.
2nd. Study the W
ord more, and the concerns of the world less.
3rd. Reduce what you know to practice, and you shall know what is your duty to practice.
4th. Pray for illumination and direction about the way you should go; beg the Lord to guide you in straits, and not to suffer you to fall into sin.
5th. This being done, follow providence a fare as it agrees with the Word, and no further.

“O the deep, deep love of Jesus! Vast, unmeasured, boundless free; Rolling as a mighty ocean in its fullness over me. Underneath me, all around me, is the current of Thy love; Leading onward, leading homeward, to Thy glorious rest above!”
